Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. 154 And We will surely test you with some fear and hunger, and with paucity of wealth and lives and crops; and give glad tidings to those who patiently endure. – 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. blessings, etc.) (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept - for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace. 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 And the God of you all is one God; there is no God but He, the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
