۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
