▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
