The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the chargers panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
