Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
