We settled the Children of Israel in a blessed land, and provided them with all manner of good things. They only disagreed among themselves after knowledge (of the truth had) come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning their disagreements. 93 AND SO, [O man,] if thou art in doubt about [the truth of] what We have [now] bestowed upon thee from on high, ask those who read the divine writ [revealed] before thy time: [and thou wilt find that,] surely, the truth has now come unto thee from thy Sustainer. Be not, then, among the doubters 94 And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe, 96 even if they witness every single sign that might come to them until they are face to face with the painful chastisement, 97 Why was there no other people, save the people of Jonah, who should have believed so that their belief would have benefited them. Once they believed, We lifted the torment of shame from them during their worldly life and let them enjoy Our provision for a while. 98 If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed,- all who are on earth! wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe! 99 No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand. 100 Say: 'See what is in the heavens and the earth' But neither signs nor warnings help the unbelievers. 101 What do they wait for then but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait. 102 Thus do We deliver our apostles and those who believe. As a matter of duty We save the believers. 103
