The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin. These are verses from the Quran, a book that makes things clear; 1 A guidance and glad tidings for the believers. 2 Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and are certain of the Hereafter. 3 We have made the deeds of those who do not believe in the life to come, attractive to them and they wander about blindly. 4 It is they for whom is the worst punishment, and they will be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 Lo! as for thee (Muhammad), thou verily receivest the Qur'an from the presence of One Wise, Aware. 6 (Remember) when Moosa said to his wife, “I have sighted a fire; I will soon bring its news to you, or bring for you an ember from it so that you may warm yourselves.” 7 But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds. 8 O Moses! Lo! it is I, Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 9 "And throw down your stick!" But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said): "O Musa (Moses)! Fear not, verily! The Messengers fear not in front of Me. 10 "Except him who has done wrong and afterwards has changed evil for good, then surely, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 11 "And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people, they are a people who are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). 12 But when Our signs came to them in all their clarity they said, "This is clearly sorcery!" 13 They rejected the evidence because of their arrogance and injustice, although their souls knew it to be true. Think how terrible the end of the sinful ones was! 14
