Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 while you make merry? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
