Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
