And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 who will not believe in it, until they see the painful chastisement 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 and thereupon that [chastisement] which they were promised befalls them 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 And [this divine writ is such a reminder:] no evil spirits have brought it down: 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Have you not seen how they wander in every valley, 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
