۞ People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 That surely is not difficult for Allah. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike 19 nor are darkness and light. 20 nor shade and heat 21 Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. 22 You are purely a Herald of Warning. 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 If they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs; the Psalms, and the Illuminating Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
