With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
