▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
