Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 Aye! man desireth that he may sin before him. 5 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Resurrection?' 6 When the eye is bewildered, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed. 8 And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.) 9 On that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?" 10 Alas! No refuge! 11 Unto thy Lord is the recourse that day. 12 Then man will be told what he had sent ahead (of good) and what he had left behind. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 Even if he presents his excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 It's gathering and reciting is upon Us. 17 And when We read it, follow thou the reading; 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life. 21 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?" 27 And he will realise that this is the parting. 28 when his legs are brought together [when affliction is combined with affliction]; 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
