3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
