But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
