Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
