The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
