Alshu'araa' 6 of 11

The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
