Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night.
