The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
