The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, do not be among the cheats, 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land; 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!" 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
