The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
