Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a Straight Way. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
