Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand: 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
