And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
