۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
