▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
