This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They come to every sinful liar. 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Except those who believe and do the right, and remember God a great deal, who retaliate only when they have been wronged. Yet the oppressors will now come to know through what reversals they will be overthrown! 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
