(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
