Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a right way. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
