The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
