۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
