The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
