Hizb 46

Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 “Then bring forth your Book, if you are truthful!” 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 They used to say before: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
