In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
