▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
