Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty God's Truth.
