The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
