The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
