Now whatever calamity may befall you [on Judgment Day] will be an outcome of what your own hands have wrought, although He pardons much; 30 And you cannot escape in the earth; and you have neither a friend nor any supporter against Allah. 31 And among His signs are the ships in the sea like mountains. 32 if He will, He calms the wind so that they remain motionless upon its back, surely, there are signs in this for every thankful, patient (person). 33 Or, He wrecks them for what they have earned, but He pardons a lot. 34 And [that is so] those who dispute concerning Our signs may know that for them there is no place of escape. 35 Whatever you have been given is only a temporary provision of this life, but that which is with God is better and more lasting for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord; 36 And those who avoid heinous sins and indecencies, and when they are wroth forgive. 37 Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance; 38 and who, when insolence visits them, do help themselves -- 39 The meed of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereunto; but whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his hire is on Allah; verily He approveth not the wrong-doers. 40 And whosoever vindicateth himself after wrong done to him; these! against them there is no way of blame. 41 blame falls only on those who wrong men and transgress on this earth without justification, such will have a painful punishment, 42 And indeed whoever patiently endured and forgave – then indeed these are acts of great courage. 43
