On the Day when We will say to Hell: "Are you filled?" It will say: "Are there any more (to come)?" 30 And the garden shall be brought near to those who guard (against evil), not far off: 31 "This is what you were promised - [promised] unto everyone who was wont to turn unto God and to keep Him always in mind 32 Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance]. 33 so enter it in peace. This is the Day of everlasting life. 34 They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more. 35 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in strength, therefore venturing in the cities! Is there a place to escape? 36 Indeed in this is an advice for anyone who keeps a heart, or listens attentively. 37 and [who knows that] We have indeed created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six aeons, and [that] no weariness could ever touch Us. 38 So bear thou patiently with that which they say, and hallow the praise of thine Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting. 39 And [in part] of the night exalt Him and after prostration. 40 And listen on the day when the crier shall cry from a near place 41 the Day when they shall hear the Blast in truth. That will be the Day (for the dead) to come forth. 42 Verily, We it is Who give life and cause death; and to Us is the final return, 43 That shall be the Day whereon the earth will be cleft from off them as they hasten forth. That shall be a gathering unto Us easy. 44 We know very well what they say; thou art not a tyrant over them. Therefore remind by the Koran him who fears My threat. 45

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
