Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know of all that you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
