SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
