And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
