Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And remember Isma'il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa'a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
