۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
