(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
