Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
