The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
